Our journey began with a similar struggle within our own family when we encountered challenges in arranging essential check-ins for our mother, who resided in a senior living facility, Even a simple situation like a dead phone battery left her isolated and unable to seek help, emphasizing the critical need for consistent support in her life. This experience inspired me to create a service that caters to these essential, everyday needs. We recognize that sometimes it’s the little things that matter the most, like ensuring a phone is charged and accessible, or providing a friendly check-in to offer peace of mind for both the senior and their family. These seemingly small tasks can make a significant difference in the overall well-being and safety of our elderly family members. At The Seniors Advocate, we operate on a foundation of trust and reliability. We primarily offer our services through referrals for in-home services, but we are also available to visit nursing homes and senior living facilities at your request, ensuring that our team can focus on providing personalized, attentive care to everyone we serve. Whether it’s a simple check-in, assistance with technology, or ensuring small basic needs are met, we are dedicated to offering compassionate support for your loved ones. By entrusting us with the care of your family members, you can have confidence in knowing that they will receive the attention and assistance they need to thrive in their daily lives. Our goal is to provide assurance and peace of mind that comes from knowing your loved one is looked after and safe. It's important to note that The Seniors Advocate isn't a nursing home or senior living facility and doesn't provide nursing assistance. While we do not provide full activities of daily living, our services include checking in on your family members to ensure they are treated fairly, their phones are charged, they are bathed, fed, and their appearance is in good order and much more. Please feel free to reach out with any request, and if it is within our scope, we will be happy to assist. The Seniors Advocate conducts home visits following face-to-face interviews at public sites to address safety concerns. However, we are able to visit nursing homes or senior living facilities without requiring face-to-face interviews, unless specifically requested by the family.
